All year I've been saying how silly it is to even make a deal out of Christmas with Liam being so small even though I love it so much, "he won't even remember it" I said. "He couldn't possibly process it" I said.......and yet here I am decorating and asking him if he thinks the tree looks too off centered, and buying and wrapping presents, and you bet your bottom dollar he's going to sit in his bumbo with me and bake Santa some Christmas cookies, which I will then proceed to break my diet and eat! I seriously even considered doing Elf on The Shelf but had to seriously step aside and realize its gone way too far when your playing with dolls as an adult by yourself! Maybe next year I'll finally be that crazy but until then I guess I have some sanity left in me!
And why am I being a hypocrite? Honestly because one day I want Liam to look at pictures of me baking with him on the counter and see his obnoxiously wrapped presents with his crazy mom wearing a very tacky Christmas tee and know that I love the hell out of him and couldn't wait to do and share all these very silly things with him that make a lifetime of memories and never wasted a second. ;D
Oh hey, there's ME in a tacky Christmas Tee being way to excited to decorate the tree! I was also wearing plaid pants and polka dot socks to complete the ensemble ;D
See.......
Last year, I had no duct tape and spent literally an hour scotch taping my tree back into its box, one could say I had too much time on my hands? I say someone ought to buy me some duct tape for Christmas this year!
Bueller photobombed a gazillion pictures!
I found these cute Christmas Sacks at Rite Aid and am forcing the adults to do "Secret Santa"!!!
My Finished Product, Ain't She a BEUAT!!!!
