First off I have never speed dated and I don't even know if
its real or just something that happens in the chick flick movies I sometimes
watch at 2 in the morning while folding laundry. Any how you know the concept
of speed dating? You sit down talk with someone for a few minutes and then a
bell rings and your on to the next, the conversation I imagine changes with
each person and probably feels hectic and chaotic and horrible and geez why do
people do that, do they do that? I need to meet someone whose done this?!
So where am I going with this?
Well Liam is quickly coming up on 12 weeks (This Thursday)
& oh my goodness he is a mess. He doesn't know if he wants to sit, crawl,
eat, babble, stare at the spot on the ceiling that is never going to get
cleaned or be bounced around upside down while I run around the house backwards
(I don't really do that but Im certainly willing to try if it suits him!) I
basically feel like my whole day consists of running through the motions of 20
different things to keep him happy and I'm even starting to hear a bell ringing
in my ears!
It kind of makes me a little twitchy after 8 hours and Bryan
getting home is basically like the equivalent of Paul Walker Busting down my
front door and saying "Hey Girl, Let me take that crying baby from you
while you go take a bath."
I know this is normal and his little mind is discovering so
many things all so fast and is trying to figure out who he is and what he likes
but boy does he keep this mama on her toes! Its really okay though because
every time we switch it up and he gets excited and happy and oh my I didn't
know a smile could be so amazing! He is so cute and I am just in love with him!
I know most people love newborns but for me this is where the magic begins when
hes interacting and as he grows I get so excited to witness it all!
Heres a couple pics I snapped this afternoon when he decided
he wanted to sit in his bumbo watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and chew on his
teddy ears...ya know for about 5 minutes ;D
